The Edgewood JV used pressure defense to jump out to a 25 - 4 lead after one quarter on the way to an easy 54 - 29 win over visiting Cloverdale in the season opener for both teams. Nine different Mustangs reached the scoring column, led by Henry Norris with 10 points, Cam Christie and Zane Powell with 9 points each, and Eli Lirot with 8 points. In addition, Karson Gladhill scored 6 points, Jack Ripley and Liam Newton had 4 point apiece, and Evan Enghauser and Aiden Williamson both added 2 points to complete the scoring for Edgewood. The Edgewood JV is back in action on Saturday night when the travel to North Putnam.
