Edgewood snatched defeat from the jaws of victory in an excruciating 59 - 58 loss to Greencastle. The Mustangs had a 10-point lead with less than 2 minutes to play, but weren't able to withstand a furious Tiger Cub rally that included two 3-pointers that banked in. Other than the final two minutes, it was an outstanding performance from Edgewood, but unfortunately those last two minutes made the difference. Caden Jones led the Mustangs with 24 points and 8 rebounds, while Carter Hayden added 13 points and 5 boards. In addition, AJ Norris and Evan Jacobs scored 6 points each, Luke Druckrey had 5, Reece Roberts scored 3, and Karson Gladhill had 1 point to complete the scoring for Edgewood. Roberts had 6 assists, and Jacobs added 3 to lead that category for the Mustangs. Edgewood has a quick turnaround as they travel to Owen Valley on Friday.
