The Edgewood JV forced 20 turnovers while only committing 4 of their own on the way to an impressive 48 - 24 win over Greencastle. The Mustangs jumped out in front early, then didn't allow an offensive rebound after the first quarter, and their defense didn't allow the Tiger Cubs any chance as they gradually increased their lead throughout the game. Karson Gladhill led a balanced Edgewood attack with 11 points, while Jack Ripley and Henry Norris scored 10 points each. In addition, Zane Powell scored 6 points, Eli Lirot and Liam Newton had 4 each, Cam Christie scored 2, and Luke Druckrey had 1 point to complete the scoring for the Mustangs. Ripley led Edgewood with 7 rebounds, while Gladhill added 5 and Lirot had 4. Christie and Ripley both had 3 assists, and Evan Enghauser, Norris, Druckrey, and Lirot all had 2 steals to lead those categories. The JV Mustangs play again on Thursday evening when they host Owen Valley.
