Edgewood travelled to Owen Valley and came home with a 48 - 39 win. Unlike their previous game, when the Patriots made a run to tie the score at 36 late in the 4th quarter, the Mustangs reasserted themselves as the better team and shut the door on the rally, and came home with the victory. Edgewood was led by Caden Jones and Reece Roberts with 20 and 15 points, respectively. In addition, Luke Druckrey scored 6 points, Karson Gladhill had 4, AJ Norris scored 2 points, and Carter Haden had 1 to complete the scoring for the Mustangs. And, after giving up 9 early offensive rebounds, Edgewood competed much better on the glass, with Jones grabbing 7 boards, Evan Jacobs getting 6, and Roberts, Druckrey, and Gladhill getting 5 each. Finally, Jacobs and Roberts both had 3 assists to lead that category for Edgewood. The Mustangs are back in action next Friday evening when they host Northview.
